HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED
The Australian Communist Party provides a number of ways for people to get involved in the struggle. Recognising the different conditions many workers and members of the public face in their day to day lives, we seek to provide means for people to get engaged that are accessible across the board.
If you are interested in becoming an active member of our organisation and the struggle for socialism and justice, you can join us as a Party Member.
For those who have less time to commit, you are free to join us as a Friend of the Party and can stay updated about all of our events, actions and initiatives.
You may also like to join our outreach program as a volunteer through the Community Union Defence League, or follow us on our social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok.
Party Members are the backbone of our organisation, assisting the Party in a myriad of ways to develop the struggle for the working class across all necessary domains. Party Members can determine their commitment capacity but must keep active in their work. The ACP is a Party of action that expects members to be involved in their communities and in carrying out the Party program among our fellow workers, not to be a mere paper member or reading group.
Those Party Members who are eager to become more involved in the day-to-day activity of the Party are able to become a Party Official, the highest tier of membership, with a higher level of involvement and responsibility in developing the Party’s organisational capacity. As a result of their larger contributions, Officials have more impact on the Party’s direction and day-to-day processes than general members.
